Sensory Storybook Surprise!

I love giving books as gifts, and especially love when I find the perfect prop to go along with the book. You can never have too many books! This swap is a CHILDREN'S book swap.... but hold on! There's more! We are going to make the story come to life! Sound like fun?

In this swap, you will send your partners child ONE book and props that go along with the book.

I'll list a few examples below.

Here are a few ideas: Jack and the Beanstalk. You could include the book, a cute little planting cup and a packet of beans.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. You could include the book and some magnetic alphabet letters.

The Cat in the Hat. You could include the book, and a silly hat.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. You could include the book, a caterpillar, and some plastic insects and things that the caterpillar eats.

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. You could include the book and of course-- the fish! Maybe a net? OR you could get crafty, cut fish out of sponges and send some red & blue paint! Now that sounds like fun!

If you'd like to take this swap a step further, you could also include a tote bag to store the book / props in. You could even decorate it to fit the title of the book!

Books and props do not need to be in new condition but should be in "nearly new" condition. Please do not send anything that is broken, torn, missing pages, dirty, or books that have "rabbit ear" pages.

The possibilities are ENDLESS! Make it fun. This is an OPEN theme. I will do similar swaps in the future that are themed. (Christmas, winter, etc) For now, we'll keep it simple!
