Description:
This swap is just because it is nice to receive nice things in the mail. For this swap you will carefully go through your stash and choose at least $5 worth of bead and bead related items you think your partner will love to receive. Items should be new, but it is okay to send half a strand of freshwater pearls or the 20 remaining crystals from a pack of 25 as part of your package. It is also okay to send a kit for something you do that you think your partner would enjoy. Please do a quick profile check to make sure you are on the right track. We don't want our stringers to be stuck with a packet of seed beads they will never use. It is not okay to send anything you wouldn't use, anything that is broken or dirty or worn (used up.) Please aim to make your partner happy. Happy swapping.

Yes, it really is a two month send window. If I take the 7 days Swap-Bot allows for assigning partners (I can't imagine that, but if I end up somewhere with unreliable internet access it is possible) there are 7 weeks left (I must have mis-counted because I was aiming for 6) and I can name about a half dozen holidays that fall in that time frame during which either the post office is closed or people will most likely be busy with other things. This amount of time will also allow you to bead a custom item for your partner if you so desire. I want everyone to have enough time to put together a package that their partner will really like.

If you know a reason why a longer around is a negative thing I'm really open to listening. I do have two people signed up now, so I couldn't change the send by date without asking how they feel about it, but I would absolutely consider it going forward.

Thanks for the explanation! :) I was just curious as it seems like a long time to put together a small pack of beads from your own stash, but having so many holidays in between does make sense! I'm in! :)
