Description:

For this swap you will be sending 8 postcards in an envelope to one partner, all centered around the idea that you will be spelling postcard with your postcard themes.

The additional twist is that you need to send 2 new postcards, 2 used postcards, 2 altered postcards, and 2 cards that are senders choice. The altered postcards can be quartered, collaged, stickered, drawn on, whatever suits your fancy -- just have fun with it.

This is designed to be a fun swap that will green up our hobby a bit, so relax and enjoy yourself. Looking at your partner's profile before you send is encouraged, but not required. You probably also want to send a note explaining how each card fits with each letter.

Here's an example, just in case someone might find it helpeful. SarahtheSwapper puts together her envelope and she sends the following eight PCs to her partner:

P = Homemade pie recipe postcard (senders choice) O= Altered beach PC, where Sarah collaged an octopus coming out of the water S = New PC featuring swans T = Used PC from an old swap showing a child on a turquoise bike C = New PC showing a lady driving a convertible A = Ad card advertising an art show (senders choice) R = Used Looney Toons PC showing Roadrunner D = Altered PC, where Sarah added dragonfly stickers to a flower card

That's just an example: you can use any words, themes or quantities that follow the swap guidelines and that work with P, O, S, T, C, A, R, & D.

Have Fun & Happy Swapping, Onyx

Hope you all don't mind but I moved the sign up deadline a bit ... we are having company this weekend and I am not sure if I will be able to sign on to the 'bot for a while.
