Description:

Note: If you took part in the previous "Let's Explore" swap you can't reuse the same photos you need to explore new place during this month.

What I want you to do for this swap is go for a walk, a hike or a bike ride and go exploring. Doesn't matter where, forest, city, town, park etc whereever you want just make sure it's a safe area. Bring your camera with you and take pictures of anything you think is interesting or may interest your partner (example architecture, public art, landscapes, wildlife etc). You'll need to print your pictures and then write a comment on the back of each about the subject in the picture, letting your partner know what it is or why you took a picture of it.

As you explore you also must keep your eye out for a found item to send your partner. It can either be a natural found object like a pretty stone, shell, flower (Note: Don't pick up and send anything if you don't know what it is and make sure you clean the item as best you can before mailing) Or it can be a bought found item however you must buy the item from a store you've never been in before (you discovered it as you were exploring). Whether you choose to send a natural item or a store bought make sure to keep your partners interests in mind as you explore.

The final thing you need is a letter to send your partner about your trip exploring. What did you do? example "I stopped for a picnic, explored a cave etc" What did you see? example " There where some beautiful blue herons but they wouldn't let me get close enough to take a picture" How did you feel? "The weather was very nice, it was relaxing and I found some cool things" EtC (those are just samples write whatever inspires you regarding your trip)

So 3 things you need to send: 1. Photos with comments written on the back (minium of 5) 2. 1 found item either natural or bought 3. A letter about the trip.

Requirements: 4.9 or higher rating.

Great swap - I'd love to join when I clear some swaps - but it's really important that you don't send any piece of wildlife or natural/organic item to some countries, including mine (Australia). We have super-strict Quarantine laws here to reduce the risk of some new blight spreading to our crops. Only some food items are allowed and have to be well sealed by the producer (eg, chocolate bar in air-tight wrapper, Reese's Peanut Cups preferred if from the US.... at least, I think they're in the AQIS guidelines....). ;) But yeah, nothing 'natural' or 'raw' to Aus, not even a teabag sealed in air-tight foil. The package would be confiscated (incl any accompanying letter, photos, etc.) and wouldn't be received at all. Those sniffer dogs go over every parcel and - my! - they're good, those li'l pooches!

Very cool idea for a swap, but I have a question, since I have not been in one of these before, can I use a photo from a past explore? I do a lot of urban exploring and I have a large collection of pictures from the past few months! But my exploring partner is at school and 2 hours away, so I havent been anywhere! Just curious!

I enjoyed doing the first one of these and said to myself that I had only explored with my camera that is a very small part of where I live. There's lots more to see through the camera lens so I am in again plus I hope you have more too. Cazmae55
