I know that in the US, Veteran's Day honors our living men and women who are serving or have served in the armed forces. Memorial Day in May honors those who have passed away. In our area we have a Veteran's Day Parade when all veterans are invited to march through town...maybe I could take a photo of this and make it into a postcard? ;^) Thanks for hosting such a wonderful swap!

What about the Soldiers who haven't given their lives but their time and commitment?

In Canada we call it Rememberance day but it is to remember all the lives lost and to also give thanks to those who have served and are currently serving weather it is in Canada or over in Afghanistan. You can make this swap your own by doing up a post card with how you celebrate this day.
