Description:

The official start of Autumn is just days away, so let's get a start on the celebration by creating an Autumn ATC with a twist.Create an Autumn themed ATC using whatever materials you choose, but here's the twist...you must incoporate a REAL leaf in your design. A leaf that has changed color is preferable, but not a necessity. Any background can be used... a photo, a painting, a drawing, etc., but remember ...use a real leaf. Let your imagination go and be creative! Any extra addition to your design is encouraged... perhaps an acorn, a twig,a piece of bark...any thing pertaining to the Autumn theme and your design. Include with your ATC, either on the back or in a short note, the identity of the leaf you use and where it was collected. Tell your partner why you chose that particular leaf. A couple of international swappers have called to my attention that they could not participate because their countries have restrictions against allowing plant materials through customs. If this is the case in your particular country, you may use a photo instead,BUT it MUST me a photo that you took...not a clipping from a magazine. If you're country has no restrictions that you are aware of, please use the real thing. This is an international swap and all are welcome...including any newbies who want to join, but please DO NOT sign-up if you cannot fullfill your commitment to participate.

Heartsablaze I understand what you are trying to ask. I would suggest that when you get your partner's name and address, to email them and ask if customs have a problem with getting leaves in the mail to their country. Those that have restrictions can tell you. Hope that helps.

Betty, your card is in the post from the UK. We are having some problems with the post here so please let me know when this arrives.
