I have taken part in a handful of pet related swaps recently. I keep telling myself that I will not take part in any more since my Buddy girl is getting way too many toys! But alas I cannot stop!! Plus I thinks it makes it a bit easier to get the toys and treats in the mail instead of me buying them for herself. Details: This should be a real spoiled package, at least 4 things, mixture of treats and toys. Include a bit about your pet on this page or in your own profile so it can be properly spoiled. Open to cat and dog owners alike, please specify which pet we are spoiling! Include a note from your own pet and a picture of them (can be printed on computer paper) in the package, so our pets can get to know each other. USA and Canada only, mostly because in my experience, the treats can get weighty and costly to ship overseas. You will have one partner. 4.5 ratings and higher. Newbies welcome with filled out profile.

You should check if dog/cat treats that often contain meat, are allowed across the border. This might need to a Canada only or US only.

I did a international Puppy swap before, and did not have a problem sending treats. If anyone knows of any rules please let me know and I will change it.

I was looking at the postal guide for Canada and it does mention perishables, including meat. Says they can be sent as long as packaged properly. Most treats that do not need refridgeration should be fine though. Here is how they say to properly package perishables. http://www.canadapost.ca/tools/pg/manual/PGabcmailwebpersonal-e.asp#1378600

As for US policy I am not finding anything in their policies regarding this.

I have four cats:Piper, Sinatra, Lola, and Sofia. They like all kinds of treats and are allowed to play with toys that don't have any dangly string(Sinatra eats it). Little (fake) mice with tails are fine, I just chop the tails off ^.^

shame not international iv have 7 furballs... my group swap in pampered pets and kitty katt groups all international. oh well maybe next time i join if its international good luck with the swap hugs reauk
