I AM NOT IN ANY WAY ADVOCATING UNDERAGE DRINKING, DRINKING AND DRIVING, OR DRINKING TO UNHEALTHY EXCESS WITH THIS SWAP. THAT IS NOT MY INTENTION, AND I HOPE THAT ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL KEEP THEIR PERSONAL ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION WITHIN SAFE AND LEGAL LEVELS. This swap is very, very simple. Step One: Find your postcard. This is a very, very simple idea that involves mass amounts of fun (in the form of booze). Ten days to get drunk and write a postcard seems to be about right, especially because there is a weekend right in the middle of those ten days. If that doesn't feel long enough to people, I'll be glad to push the mail date back and give everyone a bit more time. One partner because it's tempting fate to ask someone to manage to write two drunk postcards. The only reason I am hosting this swap is because I always giggle when my friends blog while drunk; the amount of nonsense that pours out of their fingers is just too funny. Why not make a stranger smile with a nonsensical postcard of their very own, too? Let's define some terms before we get started, too:
And of course...you were waiting for it...the particulars. You will be banned from the swap if you are: If you have less than a 4.5 but you really really want to be part of this, PM me before the swap starts. We'll talk. I'll consider. For those who watch the lists, I will be doing the banning right before I assign partners. I will also be angeling this swap so no mailbox will be left unfilled. (And I make no sense when I get even slightly tipsy.) I accept all sorts of nonsense provided they are in the form of a question. |
