Thanksgiving is a celebration of THANKS for the bountiful fall harvest the Pilgrims SHARED with the Native Americans. It was a PARTY to celebrate their cooperation, the food, and survival. Then in 1941 FDR (the current US president) set the date! Thanksgiving is NOT a celebration for only Americans it happens all over the world under different names. We didn't invent it - in fact people celebrated it BEFORE the USA was started! So why not help me celebrate? 1st Find a postcard that represents something you are thankful for or that is Autumn themed (handmade is fine too!) 2nd On the back tell your partner at least one thing/person you are thankful for 3rd Stick on a stamp, write your partners address, don't forget to add your Swap-Bot name and drop it in the post! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
