Decos and/or Lyrix Details

I'm new to the world of decos and lyrix and am looking for some ideas about themes and techniques that I maybe haven't thought of. After all, whether new or not, we can all use some new inspiration, right?

For this swap send an email BCC to two partners and include a short paragraph about each of the following two topics:

1. Your general approach to making decos or lyrix. For example, the size cardstock you normally use, where do you get your inspiration, what techniques are your favorites, do you laminate, types of binding you use, favorite themes, etc. (My list is just a guide. Feel free to include more or less as you see fit.)

2. Go into more specific details about a particular theme and/or technique you have used or would like to use. Give your partners details about how they can make something similar. (It is not a requirement, but as an added bonus you may include photos or links to photos, tutorials, etc.)

This swap is a short turn around since it's electronic. You can participate even if you're new to making lyrix or decos, but please produce a quality email. If you receive a timely email with two short paragraphs covering the above two topics, please rate a five. Hopefully we'll all get some new ideas for decos and lyrix for the new year. :)
