Canadians Only

I was in a swap like this earlier in the year, the original host is now not swapping so I thought I'd do another run myself.

For this swap you will take an envelope and fill it with as much crafty/altering stuff as you can for your partner - but it can't cost more to send than a 52 Cent stamp.

Your filled envelope will also have to weigh 30 grams or less to mail for 52 cents.

Think flat, think light, think paper, think stickers, think tea bag, think ATC, think ribbon, think of whatever you can!

3 Partners, 3 Envelopes

1 Envelope to Each Partner.

Open to anyone in Canada with good feedback in craft or ATC swaps. I will ban unsuitable swappers before partners are assigned.

Thanks for the invite Mrs. D. Loved this swap the first time around.

wendymc 09/28/2007 #

Oooh I'd love to join this!

I'm a newbie, though, can I still join?

mrsD 09/28/2007 #

Mel - pleasure to have you, as always

Wendy - please do!

chaitea 09/28/2007 #

~oh what the heck, hook me up!

Tryph 09/28/2007 #

Quick Question: Are we looking to our partner's profile specifically, or just whatever cool stuff we can come up with?

mrsD 09/28/2007 #

Nope, not a profile-tailored swap - just send whatever you can that will go for 52 cents. that's whatever you can GOOD, not just whatever you can.. crap :)

Tryph 09/29/2007 #

gotcha! :) Thanks.

How many pieces of paper, make up 50grams? Does anyone know? (just for a ballpark idea of how much I can stick in my envies....)

mrsD 10/ 2/2007 #

actually Wendy, it's 30 grams you'd be aiming for, to send it with a 52 cent stamp.

I send my mom 8 to 10 pictures (depending on the weight of the photo paper) in an envelope, for 52 cents. so actually, quite a bit can go!

rintheamazing 10/ 3/2007 #

What a brilliant idea. I'm just getting started on here, but doing one with lower postage sounds excellent. (I just paid 6 bucks to send a large-ish envelope to Australia)

Melonie, Wendy and fromthepines...much to the hysterical laughter of the post office clerk, yours were sent off in today's mail :-)...I did miss the one Saturday pickup though, so it prolly won't go out 'till Tuesday with the long weekend.

mbrat 10/ 9/2007 #

Tryph, gem-media and Zengarden17 you envies are in the mail.

rintheamazing 10/11/2007 #

I sent mine to StuffbySteph, fromthepines, and Wendy a couple of days ago.

mrsD 10/13/2007 #

my envies went out on Oct 9th to: StuffbySteph, fromthepines, and rintheamazing

5 more days to get your swaps out, everyone!

fromthepines 10/16/2007 #

Tryph, mbrat and wendymc have been mailed out yesterday. I went a little over board though and my envies were over 30g! I didn't think they would be - until I got to the post office and then too late!

Tryph 10/19/2007 #

I did send my stuff by the swap date! Am only just getting to the computer now though. Can't remember who my partners are - but it's on its way!
