Make me a potholder February: Valentine's Day

I would love to participate in this swap, but it looks like newbies do not meet minimum requirements? How does one go about meeting these requirements?

All you have to do is mail out a swap and then be rated for it. There is one month between now and then, so hopefully you'll be able to do it. I'd love to have you join!

Any suggestions on a swap that doesn't require rating? I am new comer too and I haven't founda swap I can participated without the requirement.

Ceastridge56 - There are a bunch of "Ultimate Year of Happy Mail" swaps that don't require a rating. It says "Unrated swappers allowed". Would they work for you?

One way I can think of (without going through all the swaps one by one) would be to click on the "find swaps" link above. Then go to the "category" pull down and click on 'newbie'. Several swaps will come up that allow for unrated swappers. Good luck!

It would also be prudent to fill out your profile nicely. Many swap hosts do not allow swappers in to their swaps without a filled out profile.

Just a suggestion - make the swaps earlier in the month so we can enjoy the Valentine pot holders most of the month of February, the St. Patricks ones for the whole month of March, etc. Just a thought for the future.
