Description:
This is a fairly simple swap. Create a lovely Valentine ATC for one partner using any medium you choose. But it should be something you would be thrilled to receive. You may use stickers, but only as a design element--not as the ONLY design element. Participants must have at least a 4.9 rating with no 1's or 3's in the last 3 months. And participants must have completed at least 5 swaps by the sign-up date. I will be checking profiles and will ban anyone not meeting these requirements. Can I use scotch tape to apply elements to my card? You know scotch tape right on top? lol

meshellmybell ... You get a better result by attaching embellishments ( ? elements ) with gel medium or craft glue and more secure. Is this what you were referring to ?

This will be my 1st time trying to make an ATC, is that alright? I think I understand everything to do (I googled it ^_^)

Yes, Aykra, that is all right. The ATC can be any medium you choose--but it must measure 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. And be sure to put your swap info on the back so your partner will know what it is and who it comes from. And, have fun with it!

I would rather not get an ATC with scotch tape on top. That is just ... for the lack of a better word ... tacky.

Hi! I've just signed on to Swap-bot as a new member. What about using clear 'mactac' on both sides to complete the ATC? I have 2 local ATC friends who do this. Is this an acceptable practice?

I don't cover mine with anything! I use craftbond on thicker items and gluesticks on paper items to get them to stick!
Sorry I couldn't imagine getting one that is cover in anything!

For the love of art, please purchase some ATC sleeves and leave the packing tape for your packages. LOL!!
