Description:

Create a small booklet for one partner, which shows a variety of Zentangle patterns. You can show one pattern per page, or multiple patterns, as long as they are separated - the point is to show the individual patterns, not completed Zentangles.

You can show filler patterns, borders, or a mixture. You can show how to draw the patterns step by step, or just show the finished patterns. Use color, or classic black and white, Size of the booklet is up to you. Please show at least 15 different patterns.

Any unexplained 1s or 3s, please message me. Any questions, please message or ask below in the comments.

For inspiration, I suggest Tangle Patterns

This is awesome. I can share my favorites and learn some new ones to from others. :)

Is it O.K. to use patterns from the above site or must we think up totally original patterns?

I was planning on doing this for myself anyway. Great motivation to get it done and a chance to get someone else's input. I'm in.

@Gofeen - you can use patterns from that site, you can use original ones... you can use whatever patterns you like :)

It sounds like no one else has a problem with this but how do we 'create a small booklet'? Do we just staple some thick paper together or do we have to fold and cut it a certain way to make one of those..i forget what theyre called. This is a great swap btw, There are barely any zentangle swaps here on swapbot =(

A mini-zine is what I meant..i think, lol sorry about the nubness

@Pancakes - you can make the booklet any way you like. Staple it together, glue it, sew it, fold it, or whatever other technique you like, as long as it look nice. Personally, I made mine with a couple of folded pages sewn together with silver thread at the crease.
