Ornate Stocking: March’s handmade Christmas orna

This swap is for all of those who love to get that special treat at the bottom of their Christmas stocking.

Here are the parameters:

Group rules apply; 4.8 or higher, newbies welcome, no recent ones or threes in the last 6 months).

You will make one ornament for one partner. The theme is Ornate Christmas Stocking! This is not a traditional sized stocking but a smaller ornament size (<6”). You can make it out of any medium you wish. For this ornaments you will make a stocking that has ornamentation (beadwork, tassels, brocade etc) it must look very special. Although it is not required, you could even put your partner’s name on the cuff. Any media can be used. You will put a special treat inside of the stocking such as a piece of candy, a special note, a small toy or gift. Please do not just slap a sticker onto something and call it an ornament! Please do a good job. These will be a part of your partner’s holiday tradition for years to come. Make something that you yourself would like to receive. Please package your ornament so that it does not break. Your ornament must have a loop or ribbon to help it hang. It would also be nice if you could incorporate your name somewhere on the ornaments back. I know that I like to remember who gave it to me.
