Description:

For this swap, you are invited to create one dozen woodland creature themed cupcake toppers. Squirrels, raccoons, foxes, hedgehogs and so much more! This swap is sender's choice, but it's always nice to have a look through your partner's bio and see what kinds of things he or she might enjoy.

The toppers can be of your own original design or from any of the free downloadable templates floating out there, just as long as you credit any sources you might have used. There are also tons of great woodland creature images you should be able to print and cut around for toppers if you search online or through Flickr.

Toppers must be:

  • made of cardstock, clay, fabric, or any other sturdy material.

  • neatly made and of good quality

  • have no excessive visible glue or tape (include plain backing on the other side of the toothpick/pick/etc.)

  • well-packaged so everything arrives in one piece. Remember, toothpicks can be fragile.

Be sure to make them decorative. You can use scalloped edges, lace, lots of color, ribbon, and so much more. Please note: it's probably best to stay away from anything that might flake off easily, since these are meant to be used with edibles.

This should be a quick and inexpensive craft using materials you probably have around your home. If you need help on making toppers, check out the many tutorials online and previous swaps on the group's homepage.

You will have 4 weeks to make and send your toppers.
