This swap may be a bit of a challenge. I’ve only made 3 such domino books so far so I’m not an expert BUT I’ve loved making them. Here’s the link to the one I’ve made recently… Front: http://www.flickr.com/photos/naurwen/5361412003/ Back: http://www.flickr.com/photos/naurwen/5361412053/ Folded: http://www.flickr.com/photos/naurwen/5362023470/ All you need are two dominoes, paper, and whatever else you want to work with. There also has to be some possibility to keep the booklet together. I’ve used ribbons here – feel free to use whatever you like. I glued the ribbons onto the dominoes before I added the decorated and folded paper (hint :)). Now the rules for this swap: You will make one domino booklet. It should have 6 or more pages (that’s the pages on one side, so you’ll have front and back). You decorate, draw, write, etc. onto all pages and basically you can do and use whatever you like. :) I chose an old Paris theme for my booklet (links) for example and used paper, words, prints, etc. You also decorate the front and back cover of the booklet. The back can be as easy as using some paper and writing made by… onto it. I’m not giving a basic theme for this swap, but I’d say keep our group in mind: Examples: You could make a booklet using Morgan Le Faye as your theme. Or you could make a booklet of a medieval faire herbalist. Or you could make a romantic booklet. Or a witchy booklet one. The booklet shouldn’t look super-modern, again, it should go with our group theme. You will make ONE booklet for ONE partner. Swap requirements: At least 20 swaps (not including email swaps) under your belt. A rating of at least 4.85. Questions? Please PM me. I’ll check in here, too, but PMs are always on the safe side. :) |
