Hello Everyone! I have expanded my craft to include swapping some things besides ATCs and have enjoyed it very much. I recently made afew charms for my Etsy shop, and decided to look around here for a swap. Much to my surprise, I couldn't find one, so here I am... By charm, I am picturing the little things that connect to a bracelet via jumpring or split ring. Anyone that joins needs to send 2 charms to send to one partner. Handmade or store bought, sender's choice... I do not know much about charms or the various styles, or even ways to make them, but I am sure that anyone who joins will have an idea before the send date... Open theme, sender's choice, but you may want to read your recipient's profile for ideas. Anyone can join and I will angel if needed. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll answer if I can, but I am really just making this up as we go along...

so is this for handmade charms only, or bought charms too - or both?

You can make polymer clay charms but other than being a metal smith I can't think of anything. OH!! altered scrabble tiles?? Altered vintage buttons? Cameo's? Beaded beads? Or fabric charms- layered fabric stamped with an image on the top layer. Altered bottle caps?

All of these things would make better pendants than charms though.

Oh darn--you beat me to it!! I got an idea to do this swap after running across a book I have about making charms for exchanging....I'm watching this one right now, since I'm in too many to sign up :( but I will join eventually....are there any groups for charms on swap-bot?

@Kayeoo , you can't join swaps before you have sent out the ones you owe so as to get rid of your partial suspension - the host of this swap can't do anything about it, it is automatic.
