Description: | |
For this swap you will create a jointed paper sock monkey doll with a fun twist. He will have a piece of clothing that you create just for him that can be taken off and put back on him. It can be a shirt, pants, dress, shoes, coat, vest, or all of the above. It just has to be something besides a hat because he already has a hat! Remember the classic guy made of a used men's sock with his big red lips and rolled edge hat? Try to stay true to the classic image of this beloved ol friend and make one out of paper. But remember - the twist to this swap is that you make an additional item of clothing for him that can be removed. The nuts and bolts of this swap: One sock monkey doll to one partner. Traditional style sock monkey paper doll who is jointed at his shoulders and hips (so we can pose him!). One additional removable piece of clothing besides his original hat. (You can make his original hat removable too, if you want to, but the additional article of clothing can not be a hat unless you make another hat that is an "extra." The monkey doll must be made out of sturdy cardstock or have a cardboard backing cut to size. The doll must be between nine and twelve inches tall/long so this will be a good-sized doll. Please remember that the send-by date on my swaps are part of the swap requirements. As always, send good quality, well made dolls that will make your partner be showing your work off to all their friends. I think this will be a fun swap. |
