3 packages ... To Our Grandmothers

I am very blessed to have both a mother and a grandmother! My grandmother is a great-great grandma! She isn't able to get out much anymore. She loves puzzle books(but just the word search kind), she reads (mystery, true crime), collects things with black and white cows on them, loves anything raspberry, jellybeans, gummibears, too. She likes handy little notepads and black gel pens. She will be so tickled to get pkgs!

my grandma is so special to me. so i wanted to do a special swap for our grandmothers, ecspecially with the holidays coming up. Her name is Emma. she gardens (seeds), home-canning of all garden stuff, berries, jellies, jams, you name it(recipes, etc). she crochets with yarn and thread, and is always making a baby blanket for someone it seems(so yarn/crochet thread would thrill her as well). she loves Yahtzee! so new yahtzee pads would thrill her. she loves hot sauce! she likes ornaments, ecspecially handmade. Flowery scents (candles, lotion, etc.)scarf, hat, gloves, slippers are always nice.she has two sweet little black dogs, so treats, toys etc. windchimes, yard twirlies,etc. flower seeds , pressed flowers. she is very easy to please. if you need more ideas just let me know. other than crochet she isnt into many other crafts.

My Mamaw will be so excited to get packages for her! She always talks about how she never gets any mail besides bills :( And she lives alone, though nearby, so she's pretty lonely most of the time. I'm so glad you made this swap!

So, um... I can't think of the exact name of her favorite color, something like melon or salmon. You know, it's like a light orangish pink. Her favorite animals are baby deers and baby harp seals(the white fluffy ones <3). She loves Americana and Christian stuff. Mmm, she's a pretty big fan of Diet Coke, but I'm not sure you could send that in the mail. She drinks coffee, but not in any excess. She is diabetic, so any candy has to be sugarfree. She used to be big into gardening, but can't really do it anymore because she's got problems with her feet and legs.

Mostly she'll just be so excited to get packages in the mail! If you need any more information, I'll try to think of things. <333

looks like its just us ladies. girlunderglass - mind giving a few more ideas? Does she read? knit? crochet? do puzzles? what does she like to do in her spare time?

also do you guys want me to send packages to you or to your grandmother directly?

Hmmm... she does read, but she has a bag of like, 40 books no joke that she has left to read. She used to sew, but now it's only like dire emergencies(you know, sewing my buttons on and things like that ;)) See, it's hard to think of anything, because she doesn't do much of anything in her spare time, which is basically ALL the time. :( I'm sure she would love some pretty stationary or notecards, uuum, pretty pens maybe? And a nice letter <3 Just anything, it'll be the mail and the thought that counts, most definitely.

So definitely send to her directly! I'll send her address in messages tomorrow. <3
