Do they have to be made by someone else, or can they be older ones that we have made, but never passed on to anyone?

I think she is saying they can be made by you or another swapper. Meaning maybe you have some you made but never sent out then those are ok. OR if you have some from other swappers then you can send those also. As long as it is an ATC then it is ok for this swap.

Ahh, nevermind, I have more ATCs waiting to be traded than I thought. Cool. Definitely need an art-day to replenish my cards to trade though! :)

I am glad I was not the only one who read that wrong, I wasn't thinking that I'd have to make 14 ATC's was thinking I'd have to make 2 or 4 ATC's not 14! UGH that's not quick, at least not for me. I don't have enough to trade any.

I guess we all need glasses! I would not of signed up for that many. I only have 8 more to go b/c I don't have any already made up!

I agree Darida, I would NOT have signed up with seven partners, There were other swaps I wanted to do that I will have to miss out on now b/c I have to get these done. And yes I agree with Shelley on the date too, it changed as well. I write these things down in a notebook when I sign up for a swap. It is too late to back out now but I am not enjoying making these at all! Although one I made last night I just keep giggling at!
I am curious to see what the swap coordinator says.

As much as I enjoy making ATC,I usually carefull in choosing swaps that req more than 2 partners becasue of negative correlation. Usually with large number ATC or partners quality of ATCs significantly goes down......

If she doesn't than maybe those of us in it should take a vote! I would not have signed up to make 14 cards, that I do know and I am apparently not alone. And Darida, you are right, I had my cards ready to go for this swap and now I'm scrambling to get the others done b/c I want them done, some are coming out like I want and others maybe not. Not everyone has a tradable stash of cards just sitting around.

Ok here's a question to the 17 people signed up for this swap. I personally would prefer one card per every person rather than two making the total number of cards each person had to make equal to 7 (I was ok making two when I thought I had one partner, even with two partners it would of been OK). Or if we still have to make 14 cards total, have more time to do this in, perhaps an extra week or so? Or go back to what we all originally thought we were agreeing to, one or two partners two cards each for a total of 4 cards at most. Other opinions other than my mouthy one? If I could have backed out of this swap when I found out it was for seven peeps I would have but I do not want to let others down and be a B*&^%$ or a flaker.

I spent the afternoon yesterday making them, and mailed them out today, changing the swap now might be a bit unfair to those who sent them out already, but I think adding time would be fair.

It was not ok to change numbers of partners without informing participants and I think this swap ought to be cancelled or everyone should agree not to send.

No kidding. Upping the number of partners with no notice is completely unacceptable behavior. I would be positively livid had I joined this swap. I track EVERY swap I'm in from the day I join; my records would show two partners.

How is this one stamp?

funny how the host only addresses one question.. and a generic one at that.. the glaring question about partners ignored..

LOL well I busted ass getting these things done. I hope everyone who gets one is happy with them. I did once I got an idea, produced quite a few similar ones which helped it go faster but still I didn't enjoy it at all. At this point, I think we are all stuck so to speak as some who must be blessed with much time, a bit stash, or are just quite zippy have already gotten things ready to go and out. I myself now consider myself to be more warey of swaps and even though I double and triple check (honestly more than that even) I still know there is a possibility of things not being as expected even at the last minute. I hope all would take this into consideration when rating. Every single one of mine that I have to mail out will be more than one stamp b/c I put jewels on them which makes the envelopes "non machinable" which costs 20 cents extra so definately not one stamp. More like 7 times 65 cents stamps.

Darida, you can send any ATC you like. If you did not make it, as long as it has the information for the person who did, you can pass it along. Anywho ladies, mine are in the mail and on the way, I put the extra 20 cents on there to make them non-machinable and even wrote that at the bottom. If there are any problems with the condition they show up you to in, let me know please.

I discovered today that they got left in the car instead of mailed on Saturday - they've been put in the mailbox to go out in the morning!
