Description:

This swap idea came about from Piglet59645 and I!

What you will do is fill at least 2 pages with writing, a picture, a collage, a map, a game, whatever you can think of. You don't have to be an expert artist, just have fun and be creative! You will then cut your pages up into around 10 pieces. Mix the pieces up so they're all out of order and send a few pieces every day to your partner for THREE days. That means you will be sending your partner 3 envelopes.

With each envelope you send include a small extra goody to keep your partner happy as they play the waiting game for their other pieces! Ideas are a bookmark, an address label sheet, a sticker sheet, a postcard, a note card, etc!

After you receive your three envelopes, put the pieces together to reveal your letter or drawing or collage or whatever your partner did for you!

1 partner, international, 4.9 rating req.

This sounds like so much fun! One question, does the first envelope have to be sent by the 10th or do all 3 need to be sent out by the 10th??

Glenn 03/28/2011 #

first envelope by the 10th, last envelope by the 12th!

Can it be one page of writing and one page of artwork, or should they be the same?

Glenn 04/ 2/2011 #

one page of writing and one page of artwork works!

Glenn.... I know it doesn't say this...but do we send the letter back to the originator..... ? How do you know if the partner even bothered.... That would be a great ending for somehting like this.... Return to sender....

Thanks Pat.....

Glenn 04/ 4/2011 #

No need to send it back to the originator, however if you want to do that or want to make a photocopy of it to send back, that is SUCH a good idea Courtmm11, and I'm sure would be very appreciated by the sender. In fact, I think I WILL do that with mine!

I'm sure everyone who signed up will take the time to assemble the letter as that is 1/2 if not most of the fun!! However, one idea might be to ask your partner in the letter to include a "secret word" you wrote down when they leave their rating, so you know they read it! That is not a requirement, but it could be very fun!! :)

I totally agree with you...finding the secret word inside your letter.... Awesome!!! Leaving it in your rating....even more so! Great idea!

I also think I will send my letter back to the originator....after I put it back together...... but just a copy of it! As I Keep all enveies, and notes, and everything that goes along with my swaps......Thank you Great Idea...you and Kim came up with!
