NFS Beginners: Cute & Easy Half-Apron Edited

This is a swap for members who are just beginning to learn certain skills. All members are welcome to join, but please keep in mind that this may be your partner's first effort - so please be kind when rating and providing feedback. (";)

The tutorial we are going to use for this half-apron is HERE.

Please use a purchased 100% cotton place mat and pre-wash it.

If you cannot find a suitable placemat, you may make one using THIS EASY PEASY TUTE. It makes a double-layered placemat so that your apron is not too thin.

OR, if you simply want to turn up the hem twice and stitch 3 sides of an approximately 13" x 17" piece, please use a heavier decorator cotton.

This is sender's choice as it may not be easy to find 100% cotton placemats everywhere.

Make sure you make the apron strings a good length so it will accommodate any size waist (the easiest way to do this is to use the complete length of binding in the package). The receiver can always shorten it if necessary.
