Description:

There will be one international and one USA ONLY type swaps for this same theme. Feel free to join one or both.

For this swap, you will be making a beautiful bow for your partner. This is not just a simple ordinary bow tho.

Here are some things you could do:

  • Attach yo-yos or fabric flowers to it (make the flowers yourself).
  • Layer 3 different sized bows of different coordinating fabrics on top of each other
  • Put ruffles & lace on the bow or bows
  • Use ribbons in interesting, unique ways to decorate the bow

This should help you get the idea & get your mind going.

Don't make a small bow either, make them big. Make it so they look like they would consume your partner's head when she wears it.

These bows have to be wearable in 2 ways. On the head and on clothing. So, attach a pin and clip to it. You could also make it so it slides on and off a headband with the pin connected as well. You could attach ribbons to it so your partner can tie it on their head, but make it so the ribbons look nice if the bow is pinned to your partner's garments.

Use different types of coordinating cotton fabrics when making your bow. You must use quilter's quality cottons. Do not make it of all the same fabric. You may suggest to your partner below in the comments a color scheme. If your partner does not suggest a color scheme, check their profile for hints. Otherwise, it is sender's choice.

Please, do not use glue of any kind to glue anything on to your partner's bow. This must be completely sewn together. It MUST be neat and look as nice as you can possibly make it! Use the best materials you possibly can.

DO NOT join this swap if you can not sew or do not have the time for this sort of swap.

You will have a month to think about how you are going to make your partner's bow, gather supplies, make it, and send it out.

Sorry, but newbies (no or less then 10 ratings) are not welcomed in this swap. No 3s or 1s within the last 6 months. Everyone MUST have something on their profiles & MUST have a 4.9 rating or higher. I will be willing to angel if someone gets flaked on in this swap.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
