In this swap you will send one 6x9 envelope of local ephemera to each of two partners. Local ephemera? Anything related to the area you live. Your city, state or country. This is an international swap. Some suggestions local coins (small denominations only); resturant menus; postcards; brochures; newspaper ads; stamps -- anything related to your area. Your envelope should include at least 10-12 items and should not weigh more than a couple of ounces. Please do not sign up if you have any doubt you can complete your swap.

This sounds like a fun swap! I just completed my first two swaps, so I don't have a rating yet. But I thoroughly enjoyed them and want to do more!

This looks like fun, Paula! Would photocopies be acceptable for some types of things? I do research in the old local newspapers and court documents and so have photocopies of some fun old ads and script and so forth since I generally work from microfilm or view original documents held in an archive. I use them in my collage work, but don't know how other people would feel about it...

Most countries don't use inches so a 6x9 envelope is impossible to find. Can those of us in ROW (rest of the world) just use a medium or large envelope?

Do flyers and brochures count? I've never done anything with ephemera before, so I want to get it right.
