WPC21 - Memorial Day

In the United States, we observe Memorial Day the last Monday in May. The holiday commemorates men or women who died during military service. For this swap, send a postcard relating to the thoughts behind Memorial Day - perhaps a PC of a Memorial, like the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, a cemetery, or a patriotic image for your county (even a flag). Red poppies are associated with Memorial Day, so that flower would be fine. When thinking of the lives lost, you may turn to thoughts of peace, so a peace-related postcard is acceptable for this swap as well. Something else may be associated with the holiday for you; be sure to explain to your partner if it is not obvious.

Swap Details:

• You will have two partners
• You will send one postcard to each of your partners (you'll send * two cards in total)
• Postcards are related to the theme above
• Postcards can be store bought or nicely handmade
• Postcards should be sent naked (written on and stamped)
• Write a brief message to your partner on the back and make sure to include your username and the swap name
