Summer Vacation Kit

A special thanks to @Amigirl for the swap suggestion.

For this swap we will be putting together a kit that we can take with us on our summer vacation, trip to the beach, our own backyard, or where ever you plan on going this summer.

This will be a fairly large swap, BUT fairly easy, and will be open to ALL group members, so please be aware that you may get an international partner.

For the kit you will need:

1. a crochet pattern for an easy summer/beach themed item (see links below for some ideas)

2. ALL yarn needed to complete the pattern you choose ( you DO NOT need to include a hook, or any notions-buttons, safety eyes, stuffing, ribbon etc., but can if you would like to)

3. A paperback book, OR craft magazine OR puzzle book, the magazine or book can be used as long as it is in good condition (PLEASE check your partners profile, as to what they would like, Please make sure you have in your profile your likes and dislikes other wise it is senders choice!!!)

4. A single serve snack NO CHOCOLATE- it will melt in the heat (some ideas are gummy candy, hard candies, pretzels, chip-crisps, cookies PLEASE check partners profiles for likes dislikes and allergies!!! Again please make sure you have in your profile, your likes and dislikes, and any allergies other wise it is senders choice.) Please put in a seperate baggie and then put in the tote bag just in case it opens or gets sticky in transit, that way it won't ruin the other contents.

5. Package all above items in a cute reusable tote bag- store bought (most store have bags that are around a dollar or two) OR if you like you it can be handmade as long as it is sturdy

6. Last but not least you will include a little note on what you will be doing or where you will be going for your vacation.

So to recap you will have 6 items in total- pattern, yarn, book, snack, note, all packed in a tote bag.
