I've chatted with a lot of people on the forums about starting this swap, so here I go! This swap is for 2 ATCs to 1 partner. The theme can be anything you want. Base it on your partner's profile, or your favorite subject, or anything that interests you. But here's the catch. The base of the ATCs MUST be fabric. So this will be a challenge for many people who are used to doing paper ATCs. You can back the fabric with card stock to give it some firmness, but the surface of the ATC must be fabric. Starting with your fabric base, you can embellish with beads, embroidery, charms, etc. Quilting, cross stitch, knitting, crochet, crazy quilting, fabric painting - anything that uses fabric and fibers is okay. But, it must be the standard ATC size of 2.5" X 3.5" and flat enough to fit in an ATC sleeve or page. Don't worry if you've never tried this before, just do the best work you can. PM me if you want some tips on how I create my ATCs. Newbies are okay, but please PM me first. I'm not going to set a rating minimum for this swap, but I reserve the right to ban anyone who looks suspicious. This is an International swap. I'm leaving plenty of time after assigning partners so that people can get through the holidays and still have time to create some really cool ATCs!! |
