Will anyone else admit to watching Survivor? ;) I really enjoy the handmade item swaps and have been thinking about this one for a while. You will make an immunity idol or immunity necklace for your partner that they can proudly display in their art space. Any supplies are fair game...think beads, shrink plastic, natural items, recycled items, fabric..whatever! I would like the idols to be themed to your location just like the Survivor idols are. For example, they are in China now and the immunity necklace is made of chinese coins. Keep in mind that your area could be your town, your country, your state, or even just your workspace. This is an international swap so you might want to keep the weight of it in mind when creating your masterpiece. I'm making this swap fairly far away so we have time to really think up and create great idols! Red Tape* I am very serious about ratings! (Serious, but not crazy!) In order to participate you must have at least a 4.9 rating. Newbies are welcome, but please email me to let me know you are serious and fill out your profile. It's not fair to do the work and not get anything in return. I also expect everyone to be kind. Please message your partner if you are going to be late (the send by date is a requirement). Also, please message your partner first if they have marked sent but you haven't received your idol, in a reasonable amount of time, before rating a "1". It's also really nice to note here when you send and receive your idol. Most of all...Have Fun!

I just have to join this. I love Survivor. Survivor China has just started on tv here, I know.....were a tad behind here. lol. I love making jewellery so mine will be an immunity necklace. And this is due on my birthday!

OOOH almost missed this...I don't watch survivor (don't even know if it's shown here) but i know what it's about...this should be fun to do. Mine will be a Scottish/celtic 'idol':)

Jeanbean had a question regarding size (of the idol ;)). I haven't set a predetermined size but suggested that 6-12 inches would be a good range. I'm planning a neckalce that will be more like a collar. I'm very excited. We are from 4 different countries so far!

Sounds like a fun challenge. I'm a Survivor fanatic myself (one of the few reality shows I can stand to watch), and admit it proudly!

This has been too fun! I'll have to agree now, FarrStar is the coolest for coming up with this swap. ;D

I just completed mine for my partner last night, and I have had a blast making it. I can't wait to see pictures of everyone's idols and necklaces.
