Hi folks,

Right now I'm a ex-pat American teaching English in the far suburbs of Tokyo.

I went to university for chemistry and worked in the field for awhile.

Getting my taste for internationality now. Hoping to continue travel soon.

As my job affords me a good deal of time to sit around, I've been reading and writing a lot more.

I like to go camping and bicycling. I do Aikido and yoga. I geek out on the internets and with friends playing tabletop RPGs and games.

My genre interests are high into fantasy and sci-fi. I've got a thing for modern faeries and pagans. I love creative literature like McSweeneys.

As for musical tastes, I'm pretty flexible. I go for a lot of indie rock, pop, and electronica, as well as anything from nerdcore hip-hop to new age acoustic, happy-hardcore to showtunes, though light on the country.

If you would like especially made stuff from Japan, I can probably procure it.
