I have been partnered for 13 years we have three chihuahuas, Pete, Peaches and Lolly. I have lived in SF for the past 14 years. Originally from the deep south, I really enjoy the cool foggy overcast days here, that's why I stay.

I like lots of different kinds of music. From classical, opera and chamber to country. I really enjoy vocalist from the 40's 50's and 60's, Can we say Dianah Washington.

I read all the time and usually have about three books going. I enjoy historical biographies about nobility and the ruling families of the world and books about people and places that exist or lived. I also enjoy good historical fiction. The books with one title like Diamond, Cod, Salt, Tobacco I really enjoyed.

The list of Movies I like is so long that it is impossible to list. I own upwards of 600+ DVD's. The movies that I watch over and over are mostly musicals and old B&W dramas from the 30's through the 50's. You just can't beat a B&W classic.

I watch Amazing Race. I watch lots of Family Guy. American Dad is also a favorite. I would say that I watch mostly Movies over TV

I am an avid Cross Stitcher and have usually 4 or more WIP at any given time. I like Quaker motifs, LHN, Blackbird Designs etc. I do not like fantasy designs and pastel colours. The deeper richer hues are more to my liking. I stitch exclusively on linen and prefer aged and interesting fabrics over creams and whites.

I have traveled quite a bit around Europe and really enjoyed the countries and people I have been to and met. I love love love the UK and the English and have been to England about a dozen times. My favorite cathedral is Salisbury and I visit it every time I get to the UK. One thing I do collect are magnets from different places to put on the old ice-box.

I am not allergic to anything. I like black teas - preferably loose instead of tea bags. I like ALL kinds of candy or sweet things ESPECIALLY - black licorice, jelly belly's, sour things and medium spicy things. I am not afraid of trying just about anything and generally like just about everything. I do not care for milk chocolate at all - If it is chocolate it has to be very dark chocolate. I like just about everything else - white "chocolate", dried fruits, nuts, coconut..... Really the only things I do not like are banana or mango anything
