I'm originally from Rhode Island, but since 2002 I've been living in Cheshire, England and I love it here! It's great fun to hop the train into London for the day, or the weekend.

I live with my husband and our two cats. I work as the P.A. to the Director of Business and Support Services at a hospice and I love my job.

I enjoy going to the theatre (and doing a bit myself). I much prefer to write with my fountain pens than anything else. I love writing letters and postcards - it's so much fun to get colourful post in the mail!

I also love my Facebook and Twitter - they're invaluable for keeping in touch with family and friends back in the U.S.!

The Master and Commander series by Patrick O'Brien - there's nothing like finding a fantastic book with great characters and realising that there are 19 more books to read! [grin]

I like mysteries. I read biographies. I love historical non-fiction - Alison Weir is a favourite biographer of mine. I enjoy reading/seeing Shakespeare and reading about him.

I still go back to my L M Montgomery books - I DO enjoy Anne of Green Gables in all of those books, but I think I like Emily of New Moon better...
