I'm Cheryl and I live in the Tidewater area of Virginia. I have a husband of twenty-seven years, three daughters, two grandchildren and three dogs.

I like R&B, pop, house, techno, classical and country. I'm not sure about steam punk music. It may take me a while to get into it.

My favorite books are what ever I'm currently reading. I read several different books at the same time. I read romance, SF, mysteries, biographies and history books.

I've been reading SF. I like SF that have several books in the series.

I love NCIS, DIY, the Cooking Channel and HGTV.

I love Sabrina, the remake with Harrison Ford.

Mulan, a great Disney movie. You have a strong female character that saves the day. Great role model for little girls.

An Affair to Remember, Back Street, and Breakfast at Tiffany's for the old ones.

Every year I sign up for National Write a Book in a Month. Each year my word count improves. The first year I wrote 5000 words. Last year I made 16450 words. This is a record for me. In 2011, I broke my record by by 500 more words. I wrote about 16900. I'm always hoping to hit the 50,000 words. So my goal is always 50000 words. Every year I increase my count and work toward 50k.

I like sewing and paint old furniture to give it new life.

I enjoy watching Women's Soccer. My two youngest daughters played soccer through high school. My youngest daughter plays college soccer and I travel to watch her games.
