I am a 56 year old divorced lady. My mom just passed away in April so I'm coming out of being a caregiver to her and starting my life all over again. I'd love some new friendships to turn the dreary days sunny. I'm a Christian so that has helped me on my daily journey through life.

I work at home as a court transcriber and also I am now building an Avon business so that allows me a lot of flexibility. I can't imagine working for anybody but myself :)

I have a new puppy! Lots of work, but so much joy he brings me. He's a Dutch Partridge Dog named Dakota. I'm having fun training him, eventually even getting into showing him and doing agility training and field training.

To be honest, I don't have any dislikes that I can think of. I'm a very open minded person and love to try and experience new things. Just no horror movies or books :)

Postcards -- I love all kinds from all over the world. I especially like scenes of your local area, or really just anything you want to send. Not picky at all. Please write a little note about yourself...I love making new friends :)

Stickers -- no "rewards" stickers

FB's -- I'd love to start collecting them.

ATC's -- I've never seen one so I'd love to see how they're made.

Anything on Food Network, especially the cake decorating and competition shows. Cake Boss. Cupcake Wars. Ethnic cooking

Psych, Last Man Standing, Frasier reruns and other sitcom reruns, Golden Girls, NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles. Since I live in Los Angeles, I like to figure out where they filmed the scenes! :)

Amazing Race. I love to travel, just no money right now, but that's why I collect postcards! I love seeing all the scenery and cultures.

Shark Tank

Any kind of crime shows like Castle, Murder She Wrote, Matlock, Jessie Stone. Anything on Hallmark Channel.

At this time in my life, I don't have much time for crafts since I work at home and care for my 91-year-old mom. But making FB's and ATC's and Deco's look like it's a lot of fun and it's something I could take a break from work and dabble in.

So if anybody wants to send me one of each of those, I'd be forever in your debt, just to see what they look like :)

Scrapbooking looks like a lot of fun, but I haven't had much time to delve into that. I like to spend my time writing penpals.

When I used to live in my own home, I grew lots of flowers and roses that I would dry. I'd like to get back into that and make cards, gifts and bookmarks with them.
