NOTES TO SWAPPERS
I will always send my obligated swaps and will never flake.

Please remember that international mail does take a few weeks usually so please be patient. I generally start to make the item for the swap before I sign up so as soon as I get a partner/s assigned I will pretty much post straight away. Please let me know if your item does not arrive before rating so that I can fix.

I will always rate as soon as something arrives.

ABOUT ME

My name is Elaine (eels is my nickname). I am originally from London in the UK and came to Australia when I was eleven years old. I now live on the Gold Coast, in Queensland with my hubby. We have two dogs both male Maltese named Soda and Minty.

We have two grown up daughters who live in Melbourne with their husbands and as yet we have no grandchildren.

I have travelled extensively as my husband had a job where I was able to accompany him on overseas trips for business as well as pleasure. Some places I have visited include: Bali, Thailand, France, Germany, Switzerland, have seen the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls and have travelled on the Orient Express to name a few.

My 2 favourite colours are red and green. Definitely an animal lover. My favourite aromas are coffee, toast, leather, old books, onions/garlic. My favourite dog breeds are Maltese and Dachshunds. I like to think I have a good sense of humour and nothing much offends me. I take great pleasure in being able to lend a hand to anyone who needs help. I don't wear jewellery much except my wedding ring and watch.

FAVOURITE BOOKS
I love to read thrillers and biographies. One of my faveourite authors is Harlan Coban

FAVOURITE MUSIC
60's, Folk, Light classical. Anything Annie Lennox, Dylan, Bette Midler, Bee Gees, Celine Dion.

MOVIES
I don't go to cinemas but am happy to watch pre recorded movies on the TV. I do love animated movies, dramas and thrillers.

TV
I prefer doco type programmes like 'Escape to the Country', 'Grand Designs' and reality shows like 'My Kitchen Rules' and just about any cooking shows.

FAVOURITE CRAFTS
I love to make greeting cards, note cards, boxes etc and have recently started making tags and ATCs which I find addictive!

In the past I have done long stitch and cross stitch projects but papercrafting is my favourite.

FAVOURITE THINGS I COLLECT
Miniature owls: I started collecting these many years ago and now have quite an extensive collection, most of them were acquired on our trips overseas. I would never swap any of these.

Keyrings: I have lots of these from all over the world and some were gifts from our daughter when she lived in Japan for a year. I wouldn't swap these either.

SOME THINGS I LIKE
Anything to do with owls ie: pictures, stamps, collectables, napkins etc., animals; frogs; my computer; tea; chocolate; gold, people who make me laugh; good health; laughter and being happy.

I use lace, ribbon, twine on my cards - any colour except maybe orange.

Small embellies ie: gems, pearls, stick pins, flowers, charms, vintage images, butterflies.

NOT KEEN ON
Sewing..........was never any good at it so wouldn't want any fabric.

THINGS I DON'T LIKE
Animal cruelty; religion; bad manners/rudeness; spiders; snobs; whingers; Disney/Hello Kitty stuff; anything beige, pink, brown or orange; celery; the beach; babies; anything too girly like frilly ruffles; housework.

Not mad about stickers either so would prefer not to receive any.
