I am mostly a papercrafter,but I enjoy all kinds of crafts. I love anything vintage and hoarding/stashing all kinds of ephemera! My major interests are history, ancient culture and art history and I work at a university. I love all vintage colours like browns,greens,roses etc. My 9-year old daughter is my craftpartner and mimics everything I do! We each have our own dedicated craftspace and tools and tend to get into each other's hair about supplies!

I just hate the tendency in SA to overprize scrapbooking supplies.I watch a lot of Youtube tutorials and adore the wonderfull paper ranges,knowing all too well that I will never be able to afford them.The shops here breaks up the paperpads and sell the pages individually at ridiculous prices! And being in a small town hundreds of kilometres away from the bigger shops,does not help either... I hate all kinds of unnatural enhancements.Look at Geena Davis,Nicole Kidman, Helen Hunt...what have they done to their once awesome faces?!

I love almost all kinds of music, light classical being at the top of my list.Just love Adele,instrumentals,Gregorian etc.

My favourite book of all time must be The Agony and the Extacy of Irving Stone about the life of Michelangelo Buonarotti. I read far and wide!My house is filled with hundreds of books, I feel uncomfortable in a house without books.

My favourite movies are the oldies with Fred Astaire, Doris Day etc. I also love all the Pixar movies. I adore Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, and Helena Bonham Carter.

my favourite tv programs are anything on the History channel, on Discovery an Natgeo.I am also mad about forensic investigation series.

Love papercrafts,serviette decoupage,art journalling, smashbooking (my way) and ATC's.

I love being a straight forward person. I love my kids,my cats, living close to nature.I love continuously studying and learning new facts. Love the wind sweeping clean,the spray of the sea on a cold day,snuggling under a duvet with a book, coffee (lots of it). Love being alone in nature,walking on a deserted beach looking for gems from the sea,looking at insects and plants in the veld.
