Hello Everyone, my name is Desiree and I am a proud mom of two daughters. My 15 year old is into music and graphic art. She is so talented, intelligent, giving, and helpful! Love her!! My 6 year old is also musically talented, charismatic, outgoing, intelligent, and extremely empathetic! Love her!! I am married to a wonderful husband who is a great musician! He is incredibly thoughtful, helpful and supportive when it comes to me and my very enormous hobby-scrapbooking! I am also privy to having a step son who is quite smart and loving with his sisters…of course when they are not going through their sibling rivalry! Lol! LoVe Love LoVe our family dog! I love to cook and make all sorts of desserts-mostly cake! My favorite thing to eat has to be pizza! Yummy!! I have given up soda again for the past two years, I figure I can use my calories in a different way. I have tried juicing which really helped with my weight, stamina, allergies, and snoring!
I teach young children in the city and it can be very trying at times. However nothing beats the satisfaction I get from the knowledge and growth the children get in my class! It is such a great sense of purpose and accomplishment to see the children change from the beginning of the year to end of the year and know that you had something to do with it!
I have also started a crafting business specializing in scrapbooking. There is something so wonderful in creating! I love the outcome, the process, the colors, the creating!!! I mostly focus on craft fairs, I have tried to put together a website but since there is so much maintenance and I have so little time it often has to take a back burner. I really started to focus on the business this past summer and I don’t want to lose the momentum so this is why I want to start swapping!
I also love to organize and plan events. I have done it for many years with my family and friends. I have organized two weddings, several children’s parties, and many yard sale events. I have planned several earth day events. I garden when I can growing some vegetables –which I am very proud of! Did I mention that I love to organize, vend, and attend yard sales, garage sales, flea markets …you name it! LOVE IT!! I guess you can say I am an extremely lucky woman being able to love many things to do! I do recycle things and plan on recycling any boxes and envelopes I may receive!
