I'm a Brazilian living in Florida since 1995. I'm married and a mom of a 17 year old boy. I work as veterinary technician and marketing director at an animal hospital. I love and have many animals. I've been scrapbooking for about 17 years or so, but not continuously. Recently I started with art journaling, painting, mixed media, penpaling and things like that. My family... my son, Petrus, likes incenses, bonsai trees, maple and anything Canadian, Irish, German, anything Russian, specially space or military related. My hubby is an easy guy. He loves cars, specially corvettes, airplanes, UFO and space stuff. He likes food and cultures from around the world. I love to work on my family's genealogy, but I'm having a had time working from the USA with the whole family being somewhere else. Update 2018 : My son is now a 21 y old soldier, serving in Alaska. Life got crazier and I stopped for a while all art projects and swaps. Now I'm easing back with some tea swaps

My favs are mixed media journals, Art journals, Smash/junk journals, Washi tapes Scrapbook Penpals Ephemeras, Stationery, paints, pens, pencils, inkpads, sprays, earth tones colors, textures, pockets, envelopes, smash book type of journals. Zen and spiritual feeling art, music, animal related , funny art, steampunk ephemera. International and cultural stuff, postage stamps, international coins and currencies, incenses. TEAS!!!! Colors : I like earth tones and purple shades. Like yellow but hardly ever use on anything. Scents: I love musk/amber/sandalwood type of scents. Not too fan of very flowery ones.

Floral busy prints, bright mixed colors ( aka 80's), fabric toys, anything Paris, busy bold clashing colors, country style prints, stick figures, bulky/lacey/flowery decor. I don't like coffee.

I love Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, and spiritual books. I like to listen to girlfriend/friendship/family audio books. I have about 2000 books at home but I don't like the paperback romance kind, except for Nora Roberts, Debbie Macomber and Fern Michaels... I do love those. Books are a great passion of mine. I love Brazilian authors and my favs are books about spiritism. I like Harry Potter series and I don't like any of the vampires books.

Beatles, pearl jam, Pandora radio, 40's music, Sinatra,Bolero, Classical piano, Spa kind of music, brazilian 80's and 90's rock, big bands. Feist station on Pandora is very me.

Don'ts: Rap, R&B, Lady gaga alike and most country music don't get into my radios.

Do like: teas with fruits, blooming teas, green with fruits and herbals.

Don't like: chai or teas with honey. I hate honey. Roiboos and hybiscus are not my top pick, but I'm not oppose to try one out.

I love swaps. I hosted many swaps on a yahoo group for scrapbooks and never had any flakers or issues with the swaps. It was different set up than here. We used to do swaps where each person would send me a element for a page ( title, paper, sticker, embellishment, ribbon, yarn, etc) and after I received all, I would put together one item for each person and create a kit. That way postage was minimized and I could angel on spot if needed. But it was a great group and never had an issue. I'm loyal with all my swaps and try to always send something extra. I send my swap as soon as the partners are assigned and I hope that all will be received before the deadline to send. I like to partake on international swaps, so please let me know if any issue comes up. I know that a lot of countries have a slower post office system and things may get delayed. I'll rate all swaps I receive and I'll heart any deserving ones.
