Hi, my name is Amanda I am 28 years old. I've been married for 7 and half years and just had my first child in June. Her name is Gracelyn (like Elvis's Graceland), we tried for 6 years to have a baby, so needless to say she is my life! My daughter is the best thing that ever happened to me, and I think she is the sweetest thing ever!! I live in a very small town in Mississippi, so small that if you blinked you'd miss it. I used to work as a hair dresser, but am now a stay at home mom. I like to think of myself as very creative, though sometimes my ideas don't work out just right. I love to make things whether it be jewelry or hoilday decorations. My husband probably thinks I'm crazy from some of the things I come up with but he's very supportive, and tries to help when he can. I love to meet new people, so I thought this would be a good way to get to know people all over the world. I look forward to swaping with all of you

I like all types of music, but my favorite is Country. My favorite singer is Elvis Presley.

I like to read just about anything with vampires or witches and warlocks. So I guess you could say anything fiction. I love the Twilight Saga, and the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series ( by Laurell K. Hamilton). I also like the Harry Potter books.

My favorite movies are Anything with Elvis in them, Dirty Dancing, Elvis and Me, the Twilight Saga, Harry Potter, and The Wizard of Oz. I like to watch movies exspecially scary ones. Now anything Disney also.

I watch alot of tv, some of my favorite shows are Desperate Housewives, Army Wives, Greys Antamy, the Ghost Whisperer, Bonanza, and Criminal Minds. Now that my daughter has come along we watch Disney, she loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and 3rd & Bird.

I love making things and I've tried just about everything, my favorite is crochet. I've also started making hair bows, so I love ribbon! I don't scrapbook, I have thought about it, but feel it's just not for me.

I have decided to give this a section all to it's self. I'm a HUGE Elvis Presley fan!!!! If he was still alive I would not be married ( don't get me wrong I love my husband) cause I would spend all my time trying to see Elvis. My husband knows how I feel about this, he's not an Elvis fan himself, but he deals with it. I have been this way for as long as I can remember, since I was little. I collect anything with Elvis on it and have to have a whole room in my house just to store all of it. I am very proud of everything I have and would not sell any of it for all the money in the world!!! My Daughter Gracelyn ( had to have something to do with Elvis ) is now my biggest obsession!!!

I like all colors, anything raindow colored, but if I had to pick just one I guess it would be purple. I'm not a picky person and easy to please. I like chocolate alright but prefer white chocolate and I like sour candy. I have three sweet nephews and a beautiful niece that I love very much and would do anything for. My Mother is my best friend, we do everthing together. And did I mention I love my beautiful little girl!!! I think that's all for now.

I would like any postcards or holiday cards be made to my daughter Gracelyn. I want to put them up for her to have later from all over the world like a collection! I think that she would enjoy them, and maybe something to take to show and tell at school in a few years! I know she's a baby so write something kid appropriate, maybe something about where your from or some words of wisdom. She loves to be read to, so I will read them to her. She is the reason I started back swapping. I've been out of it for about a year or more, and decided that I could get some neat things for her. Hoping that as she gets older she will enjoy it too and love going to the mail box to see what she got.
