Hi I'm Ruth,

I live in Ireland with my husband and 7 children. I am always making something. Be it cooking, cross stitching or knitting. I've been known to try lots of crafts.

My one other great passion is reading. My all time favourite author is Jane Austen and my favourite of her books would have to be Pride and Prejudice. I also love crime and thriller books. Authors such as James Patterson, Clive Cussler, Harlen Coben, there are lots and lots more.

Some of my favourite crafts are cross stitching which I just love. I love a lot of American style samplers and a lot of American based designers. I also found some Jane Austen themed cross stitch by The Sampler Girl which I just adore.

I also knit and am currently knitting a teddy fireman for one of my sons and a blanket knitted with blocks.
