I love to sew: stuffed animals, household articles, clothes, well, almost anything.
I love to be creative within the paper art world: ATCs, making roses from old book pages, collages and much more.
I love to make to do, re-do many things. I paint furnitre, turn recyclables into everyday items and take fabric items and re-fashion.
I do not watch much TV; mostly Netflix, online, etc.
A List of a few favorites: 1. Downton Abby 2. Call the Midwife 3. Nurse Jackie 4. United States of Tara 5. True Blood
Documentaries: 1. The Farmer's Wife 2. 1940's House
Older Series: Victorian House & Garden Wartime House & Garden
I am a wife, mother (4) and nana (6 grandaughters and one more on the way). I work in the field of agriculture in a rural area. My husband is retired and togther we do alot of kid wrangling (watching, homework, taking to dance class, etc.); we enjoyed almost every minute. ;)
Volunteer in my community: 1. farmers market 2. beautification committee 3. substance abuse prevention agency
I try to live by the Golden Rule each and every day.
Growing garden/flowers and digging in the dirt is therapy for me. Canning/freezing is a pathway for me to provide our own food. We live in a rural area so, if we do not produce it, it is available from the community.
I am working on a business plan for a Community Sustainable Agriculture business.
My favorite color is purple but I like any color. A world without color would be dull indeed. My kitchen is vintage fruit, colors from the 30's-40's. The rest of my house is decorated in greens, browns, blues, earthy colors.
I like handmade, new, vintage, slightly recycled items. I am not hard to please.
I love getting small extras, like, tea, tea time snacks, recipes, beads, paper, pamplets about almost anything, vintage items, etc.
On themed swaps, I do not have to have all strictly themed items.
Teapot swap, I like the vintage look in teapot, teacup theme but I also like surprises!
Wishlist: fabric pieces patterns recipe books vintage bits (stationary, small ceramic pieces, table linens, pictures, magazines)
