Hi, I am a 40 year old single Mom of 3 teenagers...2 girls and 1 boy. My kids are my bestest friends :) The best part is, if you ask them, they will tell you the same :) Sometimes people even believe my oldest daughter and I are sisters :) :) :) I am easy to get along with and love making new friends. I try not to stress about things too much and I am the type of person that believes everything happens for a reason! Ok now this is starting to sound like a "personal ad"..lol!

I've been working in the hotel industry for about 7 years now and I love it.. I get to meet new people from all over the world. I recently started traveling too... and I am now a cruise addict! I want to visit a different Caribbean destination every year for the rest of my life lol.

I recently moved from NY city to the mountains...over the river and thru the woods...talk about culture shock!

When I am not working, I enjoy, reading, cooking, scrapbooking, crafts (I easily get addicted to new crafts).

I LOVE THE COLOR RED!...My kitchen is full of red things, my living room has red sofas, all of my wall hangings are red, even my porch/patio chairs etc are RED! My kids laugh because when sorting out my shopping bags, they will usuaaly find a bag full of red things...picture frames, kitchen magnets, containers...I just can't resist!

I like all kinds of music. I especially like R&B. I love slow jams... slow love songs! One of my favorite singers in Rihanna.

My favorite type of book is Biography/Autobiography. I guess I like these best because I am nosy and like to read about the lives of others. I am currently reading "Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia" by Elizabeth Gilbert. I also love to read Travel books. I spend months researching my next vacation spot (where to eat, transportation, hot spots, etc)

I don't get out to the theater often. But I like to watch movies based on true stories. I totally dislike anything Sci-Fi. One of my all time favorite movies was "I am Sam". Horror movies give me nightmares for months!

I love reality tv shows, documentaries, travel shows, talk shows...The Biggest Loser, Cops, The First 48 Hours, Trauma Center ER, Animal Precinct. I've been to a few Montel and Tyra show tapings.

The first craft I really became obsessed with was scrapbooking! I love making scrapbooks of my vacations. Now that I joined swap-bot, I am addicted to all sorts of crafts! LOL! I love making book thongs, different types of dolls (especially Dotees), earings, pincushions (although I am not good at them yet). I use to sew alot of larger projects (curtains and pillows and canopies for beds), but I haven't done these for quite a while (I need to invest in a new sewing machine). I like to try new craft projects. I made some really cute flower fairy dolls recently! I do not know how to knit or quilt. Quilting is something I would love to learn someday!

We have.. 5 Guinea Pigs (the pet shop told me they were selling me two males...but one was actually a female...now I have five..lol)

2 Cats...Molly and Scotty. My kids found Molly abandoned in a box as a kitten about 5 years ago. I told them we couln't keep her but after having her for a week...I couldn't give her up :) Scotty is her son...he's a big clutzy cat...always getting into trouble!

♥ Surprises for my Mom- I have a 66 year old Mom who has Alzheimers. She lives with me and basically would enjoy stuff that a 4 year old would like (small cloth dolls..including dotees, fuzzy socks, small stuffies, cute earings, etc) She loves watching me open swap-bot packages.

♥ Surprises for my 2 younger kids (my oldest is 18 and already a swapper!) Destiny(15) likes anything gothic related...earings, stuffies, anything black (lol)or black/red, she also collects little dolls from around the world, mystery books, and the normal girly stuff like lip gloss, totes, makeup pouches, cute socks, etc... and Justin(13) is happy with anything..pens, pencils (especially personalized with his name), sports related stuff, video game related stuff, small magic/puzzle tricks.
