Anything that is DIY... Handmade cards Decoupage, Colouring Knitting Paper Crafting Crocheting Journalling esp. Bible Journalling I LOVE LOVE LOVE writing letters and decorating my paper and envelopes, I like making my own envelopes...

I like to listen to just about anything 80s and 90s and Christian Worship is my favourite. I also like Country and my favourite singer is Shania Twain! :)

I am not quite a fan of music as it is nowadays, but as a staff staying on campus in a boarding school surrounded by dorms of teenage girls, I am quite exposed, sometimes unwillingly, (lol) to music that kids listen to today!!

I don't play any instrument but wish I did and have made several attempts at the piano and guitar. Time has not always allowed me to continue... Maybe one day... when I am old and grey!!! :)

I am a school teacher and have been teaching for about 14 years now. I enjoy teaching and enjoy being with the kids. I don't think I can see myself doing anything else! Sometimes I wonder how people can even sit at a desk the whole day and find that satisfying!! I began teaching when I was 18 and my first class of kids was 63 in number!!! That's how it was growing up too... a big number... so not much individual attention to the kids. So, my first year, with 63 kids of 5 and 6 year olds had a great impact on me and I haven't stopped since! I have taught in 5 different schools so far and stayed the longest in the school I am currently in! Since I now teach in a boarding school, I stay on site. It is kind of a 24/7 job but I do make sure I try to get some time for myself and my friends too! My school is in a little town Hill station and so, you don't get to do much shopping or anything... so, when it comes to crafting I have had to resort to online shopping which is often expensive and limited! Still, I try to make the most of what I've got and use my creativity and a lot of YouTube to make my penpal parcels... So, here I am!!! I am new to swap bot and look forward to swapping gifts and cards! :)

I enjoy movies though not as much as reading.

I like anything remotely Hallmark related!! Also anything based on true life stories... I also like the classics and some of my favourite movies are Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Meet me in St Louis, The Sound of Music, Now and Then, The Hand that Rocks the Cradle, and my all time favourite is Beaches!!! I can be a bit picky when it comes to movies and don't quite like movies like Star Wars or anything Sci Fi. I did take a liking to The Lord of the Rings and recently did a marathon of it... Needless to say, It Was LONG!!! 😂

I also enjoy TV Series and i like the occasional binge on Netflix... Downton Abbey The Crown Castle Gilmore Girls Pretty Little Liars Reign Beverley Hills 90210 Home and Away CSI are just to name a few...

My love for books has been something I have had as a child and taken with me into adulthood... Again, the kind of books I read are similar to my choice of movies - based on true life stories and NO Sci-fi!!! My recent indulgence has been in books related to WW1 and WW2 and accounts of survivors! Born Survivors is what I just finished and it was the kind that I didn't want to put down!! I love books like that!! As a child I grew up reading a lot of Enid Blyton books and quite enjoyed the simple pleasures of childhood imaginations!!!

As a newbie I am definitely looking forward to swapping letters and parcels and making some new friends around the world! Since I am new to this I need to say that my swaps may not be brilliant, but I will get there and more than that, they will be made with a lot of love!🙂
