*ON VACATION THE MONTH OF JULY

Hi, my name is Heather. I'm a 32 year old SAHM to two beautiful daughters, ages 10 and 4, and wife to a wonderful husband and father. We live in Northern VA with our cat CiCi and our chihuahua Ace.

There's not usually a dull or quiet moment in my house. It's complete chaos. And I love it! Both of my daughters have inherited the crafting gene in one form or another. The oldest is drawn to the drawing/painting aspect of it, while the youngest enjoys Food crafting.

I grew up in Upstate NY surrounded by fields, farms and fresh air. I've always longed to live and work in NYC. It's still a very real dream of mine and I haven't given up on it just yet.

A cosmetologist by trade, I am of course into all things hair and make-up. The funkier /brighter/ crazier, the better!

I really enjoy crafting/creating. I can become quite obsessive when that crafting bug bites.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE to Crochet. I also enjoy paper crafting -esp magazine bags, soap making - hand-milled & melt and pour, decoupage and felting as well. I am currently obsessed with Quilling. Seriously, who knew that those papers you rolled around your pencil in study hall would become an art form!?

I will try just about any craft once, and many more times if I like it!

I hope to one day learn to sew and knit. I haven't gotten brave enough yet to try.

My next crafty aim is to attempt a Dotee Doll. How cute are those little things!?!?

True Blood, Boardwalk Empire, Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Food Network, DIY Network, SNL, Storage Wars, Big Love, History Channel, Boomerang (Old cartoons),

Harlequin, Nora Roberts, Mystery, Twilight, Harry Potter, Amy Clipston. I'll read just about anything that really grips my attention. I am more apt to read a thriller/horror story than to see it on the big screen.

Grease, Pretty Woman, Wizard of Oz, anything with Adam Sandler, Moulin Rouge, The Blind Side, I sway more in the way of Chick flicks and comedies over any other genre.

I listen to just about everything. Anything that inspires me to sing along or move is top of that list. Be it Nine Inch Nails, Keith Urban or Jay-Z.
