Hello! I'm new here. I just learned about this website as a fun way to swap teas. I really love different kinds of loose tea. I do, on occasion, drink bagged teas though. I have some very tasty stuff.
I am 50 years young, the mother of 3 grown children (?). And am the very proud grandmother of 2 beautiful girls! I also work in corrections at a medium security facility. So while I hang around tough guys and wear combat boots during my working hours, I love to kick off the boots & put on my fluffy slippers & relax in my recliner with a hot cup of the tea of the day when I get home.

I love to cook, bake, read, exercise, (bike ride, weights, and run), listen to music, R&B, jazz, blues, & relax with a great pot of tea! I love the beach & being around water. I love the color yellow, especially when paired with blue or purple. Anything to do with flowers & gardening.

I DO NOT eat pork, or any pork by product, gelatin included. Everything else is fair game!

I love to read, and always have a book going. My favorite books/authors are: Quarn, Harry Potter(s), James Patterson, David Baldacci, Jonathan Kellerman, and Lisa Jackson

I like pretty much any loose teas. (just look at my picture!) I tend to lean towards white. LOVE fruit flavored. I really like Pu-erh, flavored or plain. (I have some single serving cakes, that I'm willing to swap.) I'm just starting to get into Mate, and find that I'm really liking it! Green is my least favorite, but I will drink it, if it's flavored. I am starting to really appreciate the delicate flavor of white, it's a great base for mixing fruits. I'm not to fond of tea with heavy cinnamon flavor. I REALLY dislike Earl & Lady Grey, or any other kind of Grey!!! I don't usually drink bagged tea, but will if there's no choice. I bag my own if I need to take some on the go, so I may email you and ask if you're interested in that.
