I am a Registered Dietitian, currently taking a break to accompany my husband on a 3 year overseas tour. We are currently living in Belarus (I have a US shipping address). Since I have so much free time on my hands now I have time to rediscover old hobbies and develop new ones. I enjoy knitting, reading, and cooking. I am the proud mother of a 3 year old Spaniel/Gordon Setter mix named Max.

I love all types of music. I tend to lean toward Country and 80's.

I enjoy all types of books but nothing beats a good mystery. John Grisham, James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell are some favorites. Harry Potter.

Romantic Comedy, anything Superhero related.

Since living in Belarus, good TV is hard to come by. We get AFN (Armed Forces Network) and many US shows (thank you for General Hospital), but not Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Private Practice. I also enjoy watching reruns of old sitcoms and TV shows from my childhood...I'm hoping for the Wonder Woman DVD collection for Christmas (sad I know).

I learned to knit 20+ years ago as a teenager and just recently started knitted again on a family vacation. My entire family knits, mother, sister, cousins, it seemed like the thing to do...now I can't stop.

I also enjoy scrapbooking and cooking. My New Year's resolution is to get all of my pictures organized.

I am allergic to cats.

I love warm earthy tones in greens and browns. Colors of the sunset or the ocean are beautiful I like bold colors over softer shades. I'm not a pink person.

We can't get cream cheese easily so I'm looking for mixes or recipes that make good dips with sour cream. Lipton Onion soup mix is great, I can't get it here.

I love Thai and Japanese cuisine. Red wine, white wine, flavored coffee and herbal tea (fruity).
