Hi there! I live in a small hick town in New Zealand called Masterton which is 1 1/2 hours north of our capital city (Wellington)

I am a bubbly kind of person and a bad or low mood never lasts long with me!

I am a travel agent and have been for almost 9 years now. I love my job - most of the time!

Because of my profession I seem to have this weird facination with aeroplanes! I love going to big airports and seeing the planes from all over the world! I also have a few model aeroplanes at home - geek I know lol

I have been to Fiji, Cooks Islands (twice), Thailand (twice), California, Vietnam, Cambodia and all over Australia. The hubby & I are off to the Kuala Lumpur & Bali in September!

I love all things purple! Grape/Cadbury purple is my favourite but all purple is good!

I love jewellery - earrings in particular! I think I have enough pairs to last me a month without wearing a pair twice! That doesn't mean I don't need anymore though!!!

I also love all things chocolate! Oh except chocolate ice cream but I don't envisage anyone sending me ice cream!!! Dark Chocolate is a favourite but I'm not picky - oh yeah nothing mixed with coffee! ARGH! :-)

I'm not really crafty or arty but am willing to try my best!

I like to bake and cook but not do the dishes lol

I love music - I like to listen to all kinds of things, I have a very eclectic taste. I spent some time in Australia so I have a soft spot for John Farnham. I love Ronan Keating and Westlife are great too. I also like bands like Live & Sugar Ray. Rogue Traders are cool ummm what else love 80's music, Bon Jovi, Bee Gees, NZ Music

I'm easily pleased really!

I am a reading fiend!

I love good girly chick lit books. Nothing too lame though!

I've read all of Twilight & all the Harry Potters, the Tales of the City books by Armistead Maupin, all of Marion Keyes, oh love Bryce Courtenay too when he doesn't ramble too much lol ummm Jody Picoult is good - My Sister's Keeper is one of the best books I have ever read oh and The Time Travellers Wife was unputdownable!!!

I also love an author called Steve Berry - I think I have all his books!

Janet Evanovich is hilarious - love her!

Oh don't forget travel writing as well - Peter Moore is great

I could go on about books and authors for some time......

My favourite show of all time has to be Shortland Street! For those of you who don't know it is a long running New Zealand soap opera - sort of like Days of Our Lives but people don't actually come back from the dead lol

On to things you guys will have heard of! Love Love Love the Amazing Race - Phil Keoghan is a New Zealander so it has to be good!

Also Love Love Love Gilmore Girls! I have all 7 seasons on DVD :-)

Love all things cooking - especially Gordon Ramsay! I could sit in front of the food channel for hours on end lol

Desperate Housewives, Biggest Loser, Neighbours, Top Chef, Hells Kitchen, The Apprentice - although the celebrity one was an abomination!

Movies are a strange one for me. I am quite easily pleased with a comedy or drama, not those lame teen comedies though!

Love the kids animated movies too lol have to stay young somehow!

Some actions are ok - LOVE the Leathal Weapon movies - I have a soft toy lion named after Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) lol

Some of my other faves are Dirty Dancing, Grease, That thing you do, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Sex & the City, Mamma Mia, Sione's Wedding, Pretty Woman hmmm the list goes on lol
