I'm 24 years old and live in the DC suburbs. I love going to the library, window shopping, doing yoga, drinking flavored coffee or tea drinks, reading, crafting, hiking, writing, and spending time with friends. Altho' I've been recently sidelined I still enjoy reading and learning more about running.

There's not much I won't read. I adore David Eddings, Mark Z. Danielewski, E.A. Poe, e.e. cummings, Shakespeare, Ann Fadiman. I'm currently on a non-fiction kick and am enjoying books about philosophy, running, yoga, and linguistics.

I adore counted cross-stitch and embroidery of the Sublime Stitching variety. Mix CDs are my favourite thing to make and receive. I have a sewing machine that I don't know how to use. Eep! :P I've just started needle felting and I hope to learn how to sew and make some Morsbags.

The only craft I'm not keen is on ATCs.

Shows that make me sit my fine self down on the couch include Lost, The Amazing Race, How I Met Your Mother, Men In Trees, and the original dubbed Iron Chef.

My taste in music is incredibly eclectic. I like anything I can boogie down to or sing along with. {The Eagles. Pink Floyd. Missy Elliot. Ben Harper. Regina Spektor. Ella Fitzgerald. Van Morrison. Kanye West. Steve Miller Band. A Fine Frenzy.} And I love discovering new music so if you're sending mix CDs don't feel like you have to cater to my tastes. I'd love to find out what you like to listen to! :)

I love blues and purples and lately have been enjoying orange as well.

I like finding new blogs to read, magazine clippings, office supplies, scientific articles, psychology, photography, traveling, lip gloss, sitting in the park on a sunny afternoon, writing letters, cute stationary, volunteering, inspiring quotations, swing dancing, making lists, reorganizing everything, hard candy, cupcakes, and cats.
