I am Karamjit but everyone calls me Karen.

I live in sunny Malaysia with my husband and daughter. We live in kota kinabalu, Sabah.

My race is punjabi and my religion is sikh. My mother and grandparents were from India. I am not particularly religious but i do believe in God. Sikhs dont eat beef and i do follow that.

I love spending time with my daughter. We have a lot of the same interest like collecting postcards, reading and journalling. She is the one to introduce me to washi tape and journalling.

My daughter had a few months break between high school and college and we spent that time together travelling a bit within Malaysia and Sabah. She has started college just recently and is doing her Cambridge A Levels.

My hobbies are reading, journalling and travelling.

I love reading. My favourite author at the moment is Amanda Prowse. I love any fiction especially thrillers and suspense novels. I never thought i would enjoy reading about grim reapers but i love the series by Darynda Jones. I have only read two books so far but i am really enjoying the series.

I love to decorate postcards, envelopes and of course my current planner which is a fauxdori traveller's notebook and a A6 hobonichi.

My favourite colours are red and orange. Not too much into pastels. I really love vibrant colours. I seem to have found a new love for turquoise colour recently.

I really enjoy adult coloring books especially the books by Johanna Basford. I have colored quite a few pictures in secret garden. My favourite colour pencils are Faber Castell polycromos. Smooth and vibrant colours.

I love swapping postcards.

I particularly like touristy one showing city or country view or famous landmarks of your country. I prefer single view postcards.

I love postcards of lighthouses.

I have started collecting postcards from all the states in the US. if you are in the US and are not sure what postcard to send me, i would appreciate a postcard from your state.

Nice stamps on the postcard would be appreciated.

I prefer my postcards written and stamped unless otherwise stated in a swap.

I will send out as the other's preference as i dont mind sending it naked or in an envelope.

I love Japanese stationery.

My favourite pen at the moment is the Pilot Hi-Tec C Coleto. I love it because the barrel of the pen can insert 3 to 4 color refills at a time. There are about 15 ink colors and all of them are beautiful and vibrant. I love the 0.4 size refills.

I also love muji pens but there is no muji stores where i live so i get it mostly from ebay.

I love washi tape. My favourites are vintage, floral and patterns.

I am not too much into the glitter types.

I dont like washi tapes that dont stick well.

I am interested in making pocket letters but really do not know where to start. Some of my planner friends make the most beautiful pocket letters. I hope to get one done sometime hopefully soon.

I like die-cuts and stickers.

I like sticker flakes as they are so pretty but it can take forever to get it off the backing paper. Sure need a lot of patience for that.

I love coffee. 2 cups when i wake up is a must otherwise i cant function (addicted)😉😉

I love tea too. I enjoy tea made the punjabi way which is tea leaves boiled in spices and milk. Its so yummy.

I dont mind teas in teabags. I would love to try any type of tea.

I have a great phobia of rats especially the big black ones, so please nothing with rats and mice.

I am allergic to cigarette smoke as my sinuses flare up pretty bad.

Please no glitter in envelope. I am not glittery sort as again my sinuses flare up.

I respect everyone's religious beliefs but please dont send me anything religious though i dont mind postcards of mosques, churches, temples and any other place of worship.
