Well I have landed but in a totally different city--KC. I have a wonderful job working with artifacts. It is a new start in a very positive direction. I have had some health problems & a hospitalization but I am hanging in there. I am still getting reaquainted with the traffic (2 tickets later-LOL)..

I enjoy learning new things, writing and anything old. One of my goals this year is to start a blog. I am a "grannie" of one beautiful 3 year old boy named Blake and enjoy learning about what other kids like to do his age. He enjoys me reading to him and especially loves little cars. I own a 1/2 wolf dog named Page(who has just had the most beautiful puppies) and a Heinz 57 named Pooch. I admit, I am one who loves auctions, thrift stores, garage sales and finding bargains. I love the thrift stores here!! Although I don't find anything "old", I am always coming home with treasures. The girls know me by name (is that a sign I visit too much?)

Favorite holidays are St. Patricks, Halloween and Christmas. I treasure handmade Christmas ornaments. I am a lover of chocolate, huckleberry candies and European candy. .
As far as clothing, I wear an XL t shirt. I love anything with OZ logos (Wizard of Oz that is). My last shirt became a bag.

I love dulcimer music, celtic music, bluegrass, American Indian Music, big bands and music from the forties and fifties and Wilson Phillips...

Mesmorized by hobby lobby and michael's here--I prefer to recycle whenever possible. I love to knit and reclaim my yarn. I have an extensive ATC collection and they sit in my living room in a photo container. I have tons of jean squares cut for a quilt( I would consider a swap for something). I love tin can art!! I am a junker at heart. I love taking old things and remaking them into something else. I currently am revamping junk furniture--determined for a totally new look for little cost..

Currently in need of black netting, black feathers, gesso, small vintage photocopies for blocks.
